About Urns by Hewsiton
When Jack Hewiston passed away, the world dimmed for those who knew him. His infectious laughter, his love for the open water, and the countless weekends spent with a fishing rod in hand were memories cherished by his friends and family. For Jack, fishing was more than a hobby, it was a way of life, a passion that defined his spirit.
As his family prepared to say their final goodbyes, they faced an unexpected challenge. They couldn’t find an urn that truly captured Jack’s essence. The plain, generic urns available felt impersonal and inadequate to hold the vibrant spirit of a man who found peace and joy in the rhythms of the sea.
Jack’s youngest son Ben and his wife Michelle, were deeply moved by this struggle. They knew they had to do something. Sitting together one evening, they reminisced about Jack—the times he taught them to fish, the thrill of a big catch, and the serenity of sunsets on the water. An idea began to form.
“What if we created something that truly represents Jack and his love for fishing?” Ben suggested.
Michelle’s eyes lit up. “An urn that tells his story, something that celebrates his life.”
And so, Urns by Hewiston was born. They dedicated themselves to designing unique urns and started with Jack’s, when they presented the urn to Jack’s wife, tears filled her eyes. “This is perfect,” she whispered, tracing her fingers over the intricate design. “It’s like having a piece of him with us, always.”
Jack’s spirit had inspired something beautiful. Urns by Hewiston is more than a business, it’s a way to keep memories alive, to celebrate the unique passions that make each person special.
